Her Christmas tree was always a thing of unique beauty, decorated in its entirety with hand crafted ornaments.

She was a faithful member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Cawker City and the Ladies Guild.

Her first husband Conrad Mick died in January, 1976. On August 1, 1979, she was united in marriage to Gilbert L. Greiner at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marysville, Washington. The couple made their home at 301 Oak Street in Cawker City and were able to enjoy nearly 20 years of happiness together before his death in June, 1999.
