Audrey Irene Budke was born August 14, 1930. She passed away peacefully July 3, 2015. Audrey was the daughter of Melvin Glenn and Irene Mary Komin Ball. Audrey lived with her parents and her brother Melvin Dean on a farm south of Simpson Kansas in the Coursen Grove Area, also known as Adams Station. She attended eight years at the Coursen Grove Grade School and attended Beloit High School graduating in 1947. Audrey stayed in Beloit, working at Groves Drug Store, then S & S Drug until her marriage to Duane Anthony Budke, November 17, 1952 at St. John's Catholic Church in Beloit. To this union five sons were born; Rodger Anthony, Rodney Joseph, Randy Dean, Robert Alan, and Raymond Lee. Audrey was a stay at home Mom, helping on the farm, and in later years worked at Duckwall's part time. After they closed, she worked part time at Ackerman's True Value until retirement. Audrey enjoyed coffee with the ladies and bus trips. She was very happy to run grandma's taxi service when needed. She was very proud of her boys and grandchildren and would follow their sporting and school activities. Preceding her in death were her mother, father, and husband in 2000. Survivors are sons, Rodger and Brenda, Rodney and Shauna, Randy and Sandy, Robert and Sheryl, and Raymond and Janelle all of Beloit; brother, Melvin Ball of Pampa, TX; sisters-in-law, Rosella Krier and Mary Alice Gentry of Beloit; 13 grandchildren, Kara Sibley and Leah Budke, Cody, Nikki, Michala Hoff, and Janae Budke, LeAnn and Marissa Budke, Jessica Mackay, Austin, Brady, Colin, and Carly Budke; 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Audrey I. Budke, age 84, of Beloit, will be at 10 AM Tuesday, July 7 at the St. John's Catholic Church followed by burial in St. John's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9AM-8PM on Monday July 6, at the McDonald Funeral Home. Vigil and Rosary will be held at 7PM at the Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to Solomon Valley Hospice or St. John's Catholic Church.
