Beverly Ann Inskeep was born December 14, 1946 to Bobby Lee and Betty Lea Logan Fulton at Beloit, Kansas. She departed this life of 62 years, 2 months, and 26 days early Monday morning, March 9, 2009 at the Mitchell County Hospital Long Term Care Unit following a rather short illness.
Beverly lost her mother when she was a small child and was raised by her grandparents Morse and Thulia Fulton. She attended school in Beloit and was dealt another tragedy with the death of her younger sister Deanna Fulton in 1967.
In 1974, Beverly married Melvin Inskeep and two daughters Heather and Tammy were born to this union.
Beverly loved working and being on the go. For many years, she was a kitchen assistant at the Mitchell County Hospital in Beloit. She enjoyed her many trips to Wichita where she enjoyed seeing her many friends.
Perhaps above all, her greatest strength was her ability to help others. She treasured the fact that she was sober for thirty-five years, helping numerous others along the often very difficult way.
Besides helping others, she had a great love for her grandchildren. Beverly enjoyed every moment that she had with them. In addition, she had great affinity for dogs and cats, and certainly going for rides.
Beverly was a member of Club 86.
Her husband Melvin preceded her in death. In addition, Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister Deanna Fulton.
Left to mourn her passing and celebrate her life are her daughters Heather Inskeep and husband James Dean of Beloit, Tammy Hansen of California; two grandchildren Amber Dean and Cody Dean; and many friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 12, 2009 at the McDonald Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Mealiff officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Grove Cemtery, Cawker City. Memorials may be given to Club 86 or the Funeral Expense Fund, and friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the McDonald Funeral Home.
