Bonnie Mae Gormly was born on January 20, 1949 in Escondido, California, the daughter of Richard and Mary Rosson. She died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at her home in Beloit at the age of 68 years, 10 months, and 20 days.

Bonnie was united in marriage with Eugene Gormly, and six children were born to this union.

She was a dedicated employee of Hilltop Lodge in Beloit for nearly 40 years, working in the kitchen and laundry. She also helped her daughter Dawn on the paper routes for many years.

Bonnie loved crocheting in her spare time – she made blankets for nearly everyone in the family. She also greatly enjoyed attending her grandkids' activities and spending time with them camping and working on coloring books.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son Carl in 2006; her daughter Debra in 2007; and her brother Clinton.

Bonnie is survived by her husband Eugene; two sons, Mack and his wife Kelly of Beloit, and Larry of Belle Plaine; two daughters, Dawn Harmon and her husband Charles of Beloit, and Mary Gormly of Osawatomie; seven grandchildren, Aaron, Tyler, and Robert Harmon, Cameron, Kristen, and Haley Gormly, and Emily Willcut; brother, Harold of Arizona; sister, Barbara of Utah; and a host of other relatives and friends.


Memorial services will be at 1:30 PM Thursday, December 14 at the Roberts Family Funeral Home. Cremation was chosen & there will be no visitation. Memorials may be given to the Funeral Expense Fund.
