Bryan Alan Hake was born the third son of Nicholas Theodore and Catherine Winona Carver Hake on February 2, 1964, at the Smith County Hospital in Smith Center, Kansas. He departed this life of 56 years on January 23, 2021, at the Mitchell County Hospital in Beloit, Kansas, just 10 days shy of his 57 th birthday.
Bryan was preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Catherine, an infant sister, Sharon Hake, and his oldest brother, Gerald L. Hake of Puyallup, Washington.
Survivors include his son, Dean Alan Heideman of Beatrice, Nebraska; grandchildren, Payton, Dalton and Sarah Heideman; his older brother Steve Hake of Cawker City, Kansas; sister Kathy Leaf and husband Daniel of Fort Worth, Texas; other loving family members and a host of friends worldwide. Bryan graduated from Waconda East High School and attended K-State University for two years. Bryan was a Jack of All Trades and Master of Many. His life was a grand adventure, always learning and making many friends along the way. His greatest passion was being an airplane and helicopter pilot. He often said, "I never felt as close to God as when I was flying."
For those wishing to give a memorial in Bryan's honor, donations can be directed to Solomon Valley Hospice, 311 W. Main St., Beloit, Kansas 67420. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no services.
