Carl Alan Gormly, the son of Eugene Martin and Bonnie May Rossen Gormly, was born June 20, 1985 at Beloit, Kansas.
He departed this life of 21 years, 3 months, and 24 days early Saturday morning, October 14, 2006 as the result of a one vehicle accident in Franklin County, Kansas.
Carl grew up in Beloit and at a very early age developed a love and affinity for the outdoors. Besides jet skiing, he loved 4 wheeling, hunting, and fishing.
Carl left home about five years ago. Unfortunately some of his choices led him down the wrong road, but Carl was well on his way to getting his life on track. He was currently living with his sister in Osawatomie while working as a welder for Schuff Steel Works.
Survivors are his parents Eugene and Bonnie Gormly of Beloit; brothers Mack Gormly and wife Kelly of Beloit, Larry Gormly and wife Tammy of Belle Plaine, Kansas; sisters Dawn Harmon and husband Charles of Beloit, Mary Gormly and companion Daryl Willcut of Osawatomie, Debra Gormly of Plainville, his girlfriend Nicole, many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 21, 2006 at the McDonald Funeral Home with interment following in Elmwood Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Funeral Expense Fund. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday at the McDonald Funeral Home.
