Caroline was born July 12, 1943 to Edwin and Nora Fisher on a farm south of Cawker City, Kansas. She died on Friday, September 21, 2012 at the Mitchell County Hospital at the age of 69 years, 2 months, and 9 days.
After the death of her father in 1943, the family moved to Glen Elder. Caroline attended grade school, and graduated from high school with the Class of 1963.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Mary Circle.
On June 10, 1967, she married Donald Bowles and three sons were born to this union: Arthur, Charles, and Duane.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Nora, sister Louise Finley, and sister-in-law Glenda Fisher.
Survivors include her husband Donald, sons Arthur, Charles, and Duane, brother Allen Fisher of Downs, sister Becky and her husband Jack Marzolf of Glen Elder, and a host of friends, relatives, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10 AM Tuesday, September 25 at the Glen Elder United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 9 AM to 8 PM Monday at the McDonald Funeral Home. The casket will remain closed. Memorials may be given to the Glen Elder United Methodist Church.
