Carolyn Scholl

Carolyn Marie Scholl was born to Martin "Smoke" and Charlotte Merritt Casey on December 10, 1946. She went to Heaven on October 8, 2007 at the age of 60.
Carolyn attended school at Glen Elder, graduating from Glen Elder High School in 1964.
Carolyn's profession was that of being a nurse. She worked several years as a nurse in the prison system in Canon City, Colorado.
On September 17, 1988, Carolyn married Doug Scholl at Glen Elder, Kansas. In the early years of their marriage, they enjoyed trips to Colorado, where they rode horses through the mountains.
Carolyn really enjoyed the mountains, hunting, her grandchildren, and her animals.
Carolyn was baptized into the Christian faith, and was a member of the Glen Elder Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin "Smoke" and Charlotte Casey.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Doug; one brother, Craig; two sons, Marty and Darin Zimmer and his wife Delycia; two step-sons, Shayne and Trevor Scholl and his wife Tiffany; two grandchildren, Asher Zimmer and Skylar Miller; two step-grandchildren, Garrett McBlair and Thea Scholl; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Friday at the Glen Elder Christian Church with burial at Glenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Thursday at the McDonald Funeral Home in Beloit. THE CASKET WILL REMAIN CLOSED.
