Carrie R. Liby

September 27, 1971 — October 14, 2015

Carrie Rae Liby was born September 27, 1971 to Jody Ray and Maureen Dugan Roubedeaux at Long Beach, California. She left this world Wednesday evening, October 14, 2015 at Via Christi-St. Francis Hospital in Wichita at the age of 44 years and 17 days.

Carrie lived in a number of places during her brief life and came to this area in about 1995. She loved people and worked at Casey's Convenience Store for many years and most recently was a sales clerk at the Solomon Valley Building Center.

It was on October 20, 2001 that she married David W. Liby. Together, they had one child Athina and made their home in Glasco.

She enjoyed life, family, and friends, and was always proud of her Native American heritage, being a member of the Otoe-Missouria tribe. Carrie was happiest when spending time with all of her family who always made her smile. Just remember her for her smile.

Carrie was baptized into Christ in the Catholic Church and was a true believer.

She was preceded in death by her father Jody Roubedeaux; brother Joseph Roubedeaux; nephew Sebastian Roubedeaux; grandmother Helen Vincent; grandparents Richard and Celeste Roubedeaux.

Left to mourn her passing and celebrate her life are her husband David Liby of the home in Glasco; daughter Athina Maureen Liby of the home; son Raemon Dre Flores; mother Maureen "Moe" Dugan of Cawker City, Kansas; sister Nichole Roubedeaux of Red Rock, Oklahoma, many nieces, nephews, and many friends.
