Charles L. Henderson was born October 12, 1941 in Mitchell County, Kansas, the son of John Leonard Henderson and Gracie May Henderson.

Charles worked multiple jobs, all ranging from mechanic, carpenter, and in farming. He attended the Mitchell County School System.

He is survived by daughter, Crystal McGee of Clay Center; Ann Hogan and husband Andy of Clay Center, Sandy and Kurt Wayne of Salina, Terry Hicks of Beloit; along with may nieces, nephews, grandkids, and great-grandchildren; as well as sister, Sue Peters.

Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Henderson; son, Charles Mallory; grandson, David Graham; granddaughter, Christina Hicks; brother, Robert L. Henderson; sister, Judy Hicks; and parents, John and Gracie Henderson.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 AM Wednesday at the Honey Creek Cemetery near Glen Elder. Visitation will be from 1-5 PM Tuesday at the Roberts Family Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Funeral Expense Fund in care of the Roberts Family Funeral Home.
