Charles Samuelson, at the age of 67, passed away on February 1, 2015 at the Mitchell County Hospital in Beloit, Kansas. He was born February 23, 1947 in Atchison, Kansas. He has lived in the Beloit area since 1980.
Charles loved fishing, motorcycles, and working on cars, though he hasn't been able to do that for some time now. He also loved his family very much and would do anything for them.
Charles was preceded in death by his father, Oral, his son, Brian, and a brother, Dwight.
Charles is survived by his mother, Melba Lyster of Beloit; a daughter, Christina Paxton; 3 grandchildren, Jeremy, Brittany, and Kari; 2 great grandchildren, Ava and Ethan, all of Phoenix, Arizona; 6 sisters and 4 brothers, Bernita (Sam) Wolfing of St. Joseph, Missouri, Glenda Buster and Mary Beth Boyle, both of Atchison, George Jones of Tipton, Kansas, Mike McGuin of Wichita, Micki McGuin of Jewell, Kansas, David Lamia and Bruce Werner, both of Orleans, Nebraska, and Mary Mott of Beloit; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been set up to assist with funeral expenses. Please join us in bidding him farewell for he has gone home.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM Saturday, February 7 at the McDonald Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9 AM to 8 PM Friday, February 6 at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Funeral Expense Fund.
