Christopher Alvord

Christopher McK Alvord was a caring son, grandson, brother, cousin, and friend. He left this world suddenly on July 26, 2024.

Christopher was born to Jeromy Alvord and KLynn Matyas on July 27, 2005. He hated school, but he made it all the way to the end and after graduating, Christopher chased his dreams all the way to Florida to be with his online gaming friend, Haley, who later became the love of his life.

Christopher loved playing his Xbox, and if he wasn't fighting the bad guys, he was out driving one of his two cars. He loved just going out and driving for hours. He was the most caring, loving, and respectful person you could ever meet. Christopher impacted the lives of many. Living to the fullest was his goal.

Christopher is survived by his parents; grandparents, Charles and Rose Alvord and Penny Matyas; uncles, Jerrad Alvord, Jason Matyas, and Matt McGuire; aunts, Lindsey Alvord and Sarah McGuire; siblings, McKenzie Alvord, A'Lora Matyas, and Ri'Lynn Matyas-Estus; cousins, Christiana Kats, Amelia McGuire, Emma Alvord, and Alynza Alvord; and of course, numerous friends who loved him like family.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Saturday, August 10 at the Roberts Family Funeral Home. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Funeral Expense Fund. Go Fund Me Link to donate toward family funeral expense fund
