Sarah and Christopher Tiegs
Sarah (Davis) Tiegs, 25, graced the world with her immense creativity, dimpled grin, and her silly sense of humor. Chris Tiegs, 30, enjoyed making people laugh with his gentle spirit, crooked smile, guitar and clever lyrics. The world lost their love on Wednesday, February 27, 2013.
Sarah Dawn Tiegs stole the spotlight on May 12, 1987 when she was born to Debra (Stielow) Davis and William "Willie" Davis in Superior, Nebraska. She joined a lively crew of two brothers and four sisters. Sarah lived her life between Kansas and Wisconsin.
Christopher Roger Tiegs' extraordinary song began July 17, 1982 when he was born to Sonja and Roger Tiegs, in Riverdale, Georgia. He joined a playful family and Chris (aka Gus) adored his sister "Nimrod" and his brother, "Buddy". Chris lived his life between Georgia, Germany, Wisconsin and Kansas.
Sarah and Chris' beautiful love story began when they met in January 2004. A short time later they started passing notes and holding hands at congregation meetings. They fell fast for each other, sharing the same offbeat sense of humor and love of music.
They were united in marriage in West Bend, Wisconsin on January 6, 2006. The home they shared in Beloit, Kansas was full of tokens of their affection – pictures, drawings, songs, and countless love notes. They created music, laughter and cared for their pug dog, Stinko.
