David L. Hyman

David Leroy Hyman was born July 27th, 1934, to Russell and Gladys Pierce-Hyman in Beloit, Kansas. He passed away July 21st, 2015, at St. Francis-Via Christi Hospital in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 80. Dave had three brothers, Johnnie Bob, Jackie, and Tom, and one sister, Janice.
Dave was in the U.S. Army for six months. He married Cecilia Weber on August 22nd, 1955. To this union three children were born, a boy, Monty, and two daughters, Nancy and Karen.
Dave is survived by his wife Cecilia of the home, his daughter Karen Zachgo of Beloit, his grandson Alex and wife Tasha Jensen of Hunter, Kansas, and his granddaughter Olivia and husband Jordan Seirer of Manhattan. He is also survived by two great-granddaughters, Korbyn and Adilyn Jensen.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Gladys Hyman, brother, Tom Hyman, infant brother, Jackie, and infant sister, Janice. He was also preceded in death by infant daughter, Nancy, and infant son, Monty.
Dave worked for the Mitchell County highway department for several years and for the City of Beloit until retiring at the age of sixty-two to babysit his grandchildren. His favorite pastimes were his family and fishing.

Funeral services will be at 10 AM Saturday, July 25 at the St. John's Catholic Church in Beloit. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be from 1-8 PM Friday at the McDonald Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to St. John's Memorial Trust Fund or the Post Rock Humane Society.
