David H. Phillips, the son of George W. and Charlotte A. Noon Phillips, was born July 8, 1952, at Beloit, Kansas. He died September 17, 2006, at Saint Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas, at the age of 54 years.
David grew up and attended school at Cawker City and Maize, Kansas. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include five brothers, Howard Phillips of St. Peters, Missouri; J.D. Merrill of Cawker City; Brian Phillips of Belleville; George Phillips of Fairbury, Nebraska; and Gene Pearson of Wichita.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Victoria; and a brother, Gary Phillips.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 AM Tuesday, September 19, at the Prairie Grove Cemetery-Cawker City.
