Donald Lee Clark, the son of Leland and Hazel Campbell Clark, was born October 1, 1931 in Beloit. He passed away January 1, 2018 at the Mitchell County Hospital Resident Care Center at the age of 86 years.
Don attended the Beloit schools and graduated from Beloit High School with the class of 1950. On October 22, 1950, Don was united in marriage with Wanda Gentry at Beloit. Two sons and one daughter were born to this union.
Don worked in many different things. He worked at Jewell-Mitchell Electric, a self-employed electrician, and Boettcher's. He owned and operated Western Auto and Clark's Supply.
Working with wood and creating toys was one of Don's many hobbies. He enjoyed keeping busy and spending time with family and friends.
Don is survived by his wife of 67 years, Wanda; two sons and their wives, Jerry and Robi Clark of Glen Elder and Ronald and Darlene Clark of Clay Center; one son-in-law Carl Peters of Emporia; five grandchildren, Tracy (Valerie) and Garry (Lindsey) Clark, Kevin (Laura) and Jackie Clark, and Jenna Peters; four great grandchildren, Laney Clark, Katie and Ashley Clark, and Kaleb Clark; and brother, Junior (Kathleen) Clark of Wamego.
Don was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Donna Emmot and her husband Robert; daughter Barbara Peters; and four great grandchildren.
