Donald G. Krier

Donald Galen Krier was born on June 27, 1949 in Beloit, Kansas, the son of Frowin and Patricia Gradig Krier. He died Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at his home in Beloit, Kansas at the age of 72.

He grew up and attended school in Osborne, and later worked in Osborne, and later at Sunflower Manufacturing in Beloit. In his spare time, he greatly enjoyed woodworking, and was proud of his many projects.

Donald married Linda Henke in Osborne, and they later moved to Beloit.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Joseph; and his sister Shirley.

Donald is survived by his wife Linda of the home; two sons, Donald Jr. of Osborne, and Andrew and his wife Morgan of Staples, Minnesota; three grandchildren, Sawyer, Martin, and Elias, with another one on the way; two brothers, Richard and his wife Nancy of Holyoke, Colorado, and Melvin of Houston; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be at 10:30 AM Friday, November 5 at the Roberts Family Funeral Home. Friends may sign the register book from 9 AM to 5 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Solomon Valley Hospice.
