Donald W. Noah

Donald Witherell Noah was born on October 3, 1928, to Ralph Henry Noah and Grace Elizabeth (Summers) Noah in Beloit KS. He passed peacefully on October 2, 2024, in Beloit KS.

He was married for 71 years to his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Maxine Noreen James, on April 19, 1953. To this union they were blessed with two boys Mark and Mike.

He proudly served 20 years in the National Guard. He was commander for many years and retired as Major.

Don and Maxine enjoyed many wonderful trips together through their marriage.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Grace.

Left to remember him are his wife Maxine Noah, Beloit; his sons Mark (Janet) Noah of Beloit KS, and Mike Noah of Lawrence KS; three granddaughters Michelle Noah of Beloit KS, Crystal (Dustin) Dawson of Derby KS, and Amanda Noah of Beloit KS; and three great grandchildren, Lyli Noah, Conor Clark and Winnie Dawson.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Saturday, October 5 at the Roberts Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1-7 PM, with family present from 5-6 PM Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Solomon Valley Hospice.
