Dorothy Krier

Dorothy passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at the Hilltop Lodge in Beloit, Kansas at the age of 94.

Dorothy was born to Sylvester and Anna (Koenigsman) Arnoldy on March 13, 1927 in Tipton, Kansas. She graduated from Tipton High School and attended Marymount College in Salina.

Dorothy married Marvin Krier on October 2, 1951 in Tipton. They moved to Beloit in 1951, and five children were born to this marriage – Ruth, Barb, Jerry, Nancy, and Kevin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Edmund; sisters, Mary Ann, Ottilia, and Loretta; husband, Marvin; daughter, Nancy; and son, Kevin.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Ruth and husband Barry Greiss, Barb Umsheid and Bob Glick, and Jerry; and grandchildren, Brandon Umscheid, and Joseph and Jennifer Krier.

Cremation has been chosen & graveside memorial services will be at 1 PM Saturday, October 15 at the St. Boniface Cemetery in Tipton.
