Dwight W. Proctor was born in Talequah, Oklahoma on November 9, 1950. He passed away at his home in Randall, Kansas on Friday, February 22, 2019.

Dwight graduated from Joplin Senior High School in 1968. He worked for Missouri American Water Company in Joplin, Missouri for 33 years. He loved to hunt, fish, and play golf. He was a great family man and especially enjoyed time with his grandson, Braden.

Dwight is survived by his wife Barbara (Finney) Proctor; his daughters, Rachel Proctor of Joplin, and Farrah (Andy) Garrison of Mesa, Arizona; two grandsons, Braden Proctor of Springfield, Missouri, and Dylan Poore of Neosho; step daughter, Amy Jo (Anthony) Accardi of Boston, Massachusetts; step sister, Regina Franke of Novelty, Missouri; step mother, Nora Proctor of Joplin; and a host of friends in both Joplin and Beloit.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation services will be from 4-6 PM Tuesday, March 5 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Parish Hall in Webb City, MO & from 4-6 PM on Thursday, March 7 at the Roberts Family Funeral Home in Beloit. Memorials may be given to the Joplin Humane Society in Joplin, MO or the Post Rock Humane Society in Beloit.
