While laying carpet was his true forte, he was very proficient at installing other types of floor coverings. No job was too big or too small for him, and having the customer satisfied was everything to him. Often, his work required him to move where the jobs were and he made frequent trips between Arizona and Kansas. He and his family settled in Salina, Kansas about eight years ago and most recently was a contractor for Complete Floor Coverings in Salina. Health forced him to quit in June, 2016 and he and his wife moved to Glen Elder to be near family.
Eddie married Janice Norene Hand on September 15, 1971.
A kind, people loving person, Eddie had a deep for Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was very willing to share his faith with others. He witnessed to many people over the years and was always there to lend a hand to anyone in need. His funny, upbeat sense of humor will be long remembered.
