Edward Ross Gaskill was born on April 30, 1948 in Beloit, Kansas, the son of Ross and Thelma Flinn Gaskill. He died early Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Hilltop Lodge in Beloit at the age of 64 years and 1 month.
Eddie, as he was known, was a lifelong resident of Beloit. He attended Beloit schools and was a part of the Class of 1967, maintaining a lasting friendship with his classmates throughout the years.

He could always be seen riding his bike, and knew where everyone lived and what kind of vehicles people drove.
Eddie loved his church, and had many close friends within the church, and had a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews, and always supported their many events and activities.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Mary Saint.
Eddie is survived by two brothers, James and wife Dorothy of Gothenburg, Nebraska, and Rodger and wife Karen of McKinney, Texas; three sisters, Donna Long and husband Ivan of Beloit, Nancy Huggins and husband Wayne of Beloit, and Linda Scott and husband Gale of Topeka; a brother-in-law, Carlyle Saint of Mankato; a special Aunt Inez Clark of Beloit; and many very special nieces and nephews.
