Flora E. Fall

Flora Ellen Fall, daughter of Oscar William and Edna Rosella Shuck Oline, was born September 22, 1914 at the homeplace near Ionia, Kansas. She died on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at the Mitchell County Hospital in Beloit, Kansas at the age of 93 years, 4 months, and 14 days.
She grew to womanhood and attended schools of Ionia, graduating in 1933.
After her marriage to Milford Fall, they resided on a farm southwest of Mankato. During their early marriage, they accepted Christ as their Savior, and remained true to the Assembly of God Faith until their death.
Velva Marie, their little girl, passed away at the age of 8 months. Her mother stayed with them during her illness with cancer until her death.
Flora and Milford sold their farm and moved to her parents' farm to care for her father. They also cared for her invalid uncle, Harry Shuck.
Her brother, Orlyn also preceded her in death with cancer, and a sister, Joycelyn died in infancy.
After her husband Milford's tragic and untimely death in 1982, she purchased a home in Beloit, where she was close to her church.
In the last few years, she found it necessary to sell her home and purchase a condominium at Hilltop Lodge in Beloit, and had lived in the Hilltop Nursing Home for the past seven years.
Her greatest wish was to serve her Lord in her church in Beloit.
To mourn her passing, she leaves Milford's two sisters, Josephine Wolfe and her husband Auguste of Texas, and Juanice Zadina of Minneapolis, Kansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 9, 2008 at the New Life Assembly of God Church in Beloit followed by burial in the Ionia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Friday at the McDonald Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the Church.
