Frank L. Eilert

Frank Eilert was born November 18, 1958 to Eugene & Joye Eilert. He died on August 3, 2024 at Mitchell County Hospital after a short illness.
Frank grew up in Beloit, graduating from Beloit High School in the class of 1978. In both junior high and high school Frank enjoyed playing football, wrestling, and track. He still holds the half mile 8th grade record.
As an adult, Frank lived in Simpson, KS and could often be found fishing along the river banks, which gave him tremendous joy. He  enjoyed helping his friends and neighbors anytime there was need.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Joye Eilert, and by his beloved brother, Darrell Eilert.
He is survived by his brother Carl & his wife, Ardyce Eilert of Beloit and his sister Kristine & her husband, Charles Shumway of Cary, NC.

Funeral services will be at 9 AM Wednesday, August 7 at the Roberts Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1-7 PM, with family present from 5-6 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Kansas Wildscape Foundation https://kansaswildscape.org/ .
