Gladys Louise Miltner was born on May 11, 1919 in Beloit, Kansas, the daughter of Oscar and Emma Coffield White. She died on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at the Nicol Home in Glasco, Kansas at the age of 103.

In her spare time, she was always very active in both the First United Methodist Church, and the Beloit community. She served as a den mother for the scouts, a member of the Beauceants Club, a member of various church groups for many years, and member and worthy matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was also very instrumental in starting the blood drive in Beloit, and organizing MCARC, which later became known as OCCK.
