Gregory Hamilton

Gregory Allen Hamilton was born on February 1, 1949 in Ft. Monmouth, New Jersey, the son of Jack and June Fuller Hamilton. He died on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at the Via Christi Hospital in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 74.

Greg grew up and attended schools in Beloit, Kansas, where he graduated from Beloit High School in 1967. Following graduation, he attended and graduated from the Beloit Vo-Tech, and later attended college at Cloud County and Fort Hays State.

On July 6, 1974, he was united in marriage with Barbara Hyman at the St. John's Catholic Church in Beloit. Two sons, Derek and Deven were born to this union.

Greg worked for many years designing machinery at Kent Manufacturing before working at Combustion Engineering in Enterprise, which later became ABB. And for the last 20 years, he enjoyed dealing in antiques and doing clock repair work.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and June.

Greg is survived by his wife Barbara of the home in Abilene; two sons, Derek and his wife Amanda, and their children, Emma, Chloe, Bella, and Ivy, and Deven, all of Abilene; his brother, Doug and his wife Jeanne of Salina; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be at 1:30 PM Tuesday, March 28 at the Roberts Family Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place & there will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Funeral Expense Fund.
