Henry Joseph Weber was born September 1, 1954 to Linus Joseph and Luella G. Fueser Weber at Beloit, Kansas. He departed this life of 56 years and 4 months unexpectedly on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at his home in Abilene, Kansas.
Henry spent his life growing up in Beloit and moving to Jewell with his family where he graduated from high school. He later moved to Scottsville and attended the North Central Kansas Area Vocational Technical School where he studied farm mechanics.
As time went on, he resided in Concordia and Manhattan and finally made his home with his uncle Bill Fueser in Abilene for the past fifteen years. While in Abilene, he enjoyed doing occasional mechanical work for people in need of his expertise.
A highly resourceful and crafty person, Henry loved his family. His long term illness presented many challenges for him to overcome.
Survivors are his family Rosie Garten & husband Lonnie of Newalla, OK, Marie Senters & husband Richard of Beloit, Theresa Ullom & husband Lester of Beloit, Linda Fordham & husband Cecil of Onaga, Diana Hamm of Florence, Alabama, Garry Weber & wife Cynthia of Concordia, Jerry Weber & wife Ann of Hays, Anthony Weber & wife Traci of Cimarron, Aggie Moore & husband Gary, Concordia, Bill Weber & wife Annie of Beloit, Marvin Weber, Muscle Shoals, AL, Lorie Heier & husband Mark, Grainfield; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by a niece Candi Hamm; a brother-in-law J.B. Hamm and one great nephew Vince Senters.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, January 7 at St. John's Catholic Church. A vigil service will be at 7:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home, and visitation will be from 9:00 AM to the vigil service time. Memorials may be given to the Funeral Expense Fund.
