Jack Haines Trussell, age 93, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2026. He was born on September 27, 1932, in Randall, Kansas.

Jack spent his childhood and teenage years in Randall, where he attended school and later graduated from Randall High School. During his youth, he spent summers in Wyoming working on a cattle ranch, an experience that helped shape the strong work ethic and determination that defined his life.

At the age of 21, Jack proudly joined the United States Army and dedicated 25 years of honorable service to his country. During his military career, he completed three overseas tours, serving in both Korea and Vietnam. His commitment, courage, and sacrifice reflected his deep sense of duty and love for his nation.

Jack was first married to Dorothy (Sutton) Trussell, and together they raised three beloved daughters: Theresa, Trina, and Tam. Family was one of the greatest joys of his life, and he cherished the time spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Later in life, Jack married Aileen (Fuller) Trussell, with whom he shared many treasured years and extended his family through her children.

Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (Sutton) Trussell; his wife, Aileen (Fuller) Trussell; and his beloved daughter, Trina Trussell.

He is survived by his daughters, Theresa Trussell and Tam Trussell-Small; his grandchildren, Courtney (Jeremiah), John, Jack (Alicia), Jake, Diana (Nick), Ricky (Eve), and Amanda (Orlando); and his great-grandchildren, Eric, Emily, Addy, Kenze, Josiah, Elijah, Matthew, Luna, Sky, Zandra, Jovon, Ethan, and Noelle.

Jack will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his hardworking spirit, and his proud military service. He lived a life marked by sacrifice, resilience, and love for those closest to him. His legacy of strength, perseverance, and devotion will continue to live on through the family he cherished and the many lives he touched.

Funeral services will be at 10 AM Tuesday, June 9 at the Roberts Family Funeral Home in Beloit.
