James "Bud" R. Louthan

James Robert "Buddy" Louthan was born on October 11, 1946 in Concordia, Kansas, the son of Moses Franklin and Lila Maxine Leinen Louthan. He died on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Hilltop Lodge in Beloit, Kansas at the age of 68 years, 3 months, and 16 days.
Buddy, as he was known, grew up in the Simpson area, and lived on the family farm with his parents. He attended school and later graduated from Simpson High School in 1965. Following graduation, he attended Kansas State University.
He returned to the area and ran a small engine repair shop for many years.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by a host of cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM Monday at the Dean Funeral Home followed by burial in Simpson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7:30 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Simpson Cemetery.
