Jerry Patrick Bossen, born December 27, 1963, in Denver, Colorado, departed from this world on April 6, 2024, in Beloit, Kansas, leaving behind a legacy of adventure, camaraderie, and dedication. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Tanya Carr, and his brother, Scott Bossen.
Jerry is survived by his uncle, Brandon Ryan, who meant the world to him and three nieces, Taryn, Meagan, and Brianne. He also leaves behind a multitude of friends and his cherished Heineken Electric family, who will remember him fondly for his vibrant spirit and unwavering loyalty.
Throughout his life, Jerry was a man of action and passion. He found joy in the thrill of motorcycles, the speed of fast cars, and the energy of live concerts. His love for these pursuits was only surpassed by his dedication to his craft. Jerry pursued a career as an electrician, graduating from trade school to embark on a journey that would take him across lands and seas.
His adventures led him to work on tug boats, where he was entrusted with the care of engines and electrical systems, navigating from Mobile, Alabama, to Puerto Rico. He also worked for Interstate Electric, traversing different regions before eventually finding his way back to Kansas. It was there that he made the decision to care for his ailing mother, demonstrating the depth of his compassion and sense of responsibility.
In recent years, Jerry found his professional home at Heineken Electric, where he became an integral part of their family for over a decade. His dedication, expertise, and warm personality made him a beloved figure among colleagues and clients alike. It was here that he shared his vast knowledge with the emerging apprentices as their instructor.
While Jerry's journey on this earth has come to an end, his spirit will continue to live on in the memories of those who knew him. He will be remembered for his adventurous soul, his unwavering loyalty, and his genuine kindness. Though he may be gone, his legacy of passion and perseverance will inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him. Rest in peace, Jerry Patrick Bossen.
Memorial Services will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday at the Roberts Family Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
