Jesse L. Sporleder

Jesse Leroy Sporleder was born on October 16, 1969 in Beloit, Kansas, the son of William Cecil and Margaret L. McCorkle Sporleder. He died Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at the Salina Regional Medical Center after a long struggle at the age of 45 years, 9 months, and 20 days.
Jesse grew up and attended school in Beloit. He worked for Jensen's Café, and later at Thompson's OK Tire for several years. He also worked at the Randall COOP, before working for Dave Kadel on his farm, where he worked cattle and helped with harvest until his health would no longer allow him to work.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing, tinkering with vehicles, and going to car races with the boys. He was a devoted father and family man, and loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. He was always willing to do anything for anyone that needed help.
Jesse was preceded in death by his grandparents, Allen and Esther McCorkle, and Pete and Frances Sporleder; his brother, Cecil Sporleder Jr.; his loving nephew, Willie Wright; and his special Uncle Art McCorkle.
He is survived by his parents, Cecil and Margaret; his siblings, Jodie Norberg and her husband Mark and their children River and Kayla, Pete Sporleder and his son Wyatt; stepchildren, Dustin, Chantell, Dalton and Reece; step grandchildren, Narya and Taya; his significant other, Tracie and her husband Carter Brooks; and many other family members who are celebrating his life.

Funeral services will be at 10 AM Tuesday, August 11 at the McDonald Funeral Home, followed by burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-8 PM Monday at the Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the Waconda Lake Kids Fish-A-Thon, or the Mitchell County Food Pantry.
