Jimmy Slate

Jimmy Dale Slate was born November 30, 1935 on the family farm near Beloit, Kansas to Clarence and Nelda Slate. He died Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the Mitchell County Hospital in Beloit at the age of 85.

He is survived by his wife Nancy; children: Randie of Montrose, Debra Peters (Tim) of Delphos, Malinda Skillman of Wichita, and Jeff (fiancee' Arin Albert) of Beloit; four grandchildren: Amanda Slate (fiance' Evan Craig), Mistie (Dustin) Knox, Lance Hartley (fiancee' Bailey), and Allyson Skillman; and six great grandchildren: Ava Craig, Cora Craig, Hudsyn Knox, Gwyneth Knox, Kameron Knox, and Kiara Knox.

Public graveside services will take place at 10 AM Friday, February 5 at the Elmwood Cemetery in Beloit. Visitation will be from 8:45 to 9:45 AM Friday before the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Nancy Slate to be used for their Great Grandchildren's Education Fund.
