Joann "Jody" Beck

JoAnn Claire "Gran" (Goodwin) Beck of Beloit, KS born on February 11, 1942 in Lincoln, NE, passed away peacefully at Beloit Mitchell Co. Hospital surrounded by her family on April 26. 2021 at the age of 79.   JoAnn graduated from Lincoln University High School in 1960 and Southeast Community College Practical Nursing Program in 1977.  "Gran" loved her family almost as much as she loved her Kansas City Royals, Wienee Roasts, and her dog Lilly.

She is survived by her children, Amy (Beck) Hunt, Willard Beck III, Thomas & Jennifer Beck; longtime friend/partner Steve Rugg; grandchildren Jesserae, Jill, Sadie, Taylor, Hailey, Katelyn, Skylar, and Jace; 8 great grandchildren, and 3 nieces.

She is proceeded in death by her parents Lawrence & Thelma (Edmundson) Goodwin, brother James Goodwin, and niece Rhondi Goodwin.

Funeral Services will be held at Lincoln Memorial Chapel in Lincoln, Nebraska, on Tuesday, May 4 ^th at 2pm.  Viewing will start at 1pm.
