John Prouty Pepper was born to George W and Delia Jackson Pepper Jan 24, 1908, on a farm south east of Barnard, Lincoln County, KS. His death came after being ill for several months, at the Hilltop Lodge in Beloit, KS, where he had been a resident for one year.
He leaves behind 6 children: Wesley, Duane, Frank, Judy, Eugene and Cheryl. All his brothers and sisters preceded him in death. As did his 1st wife Reita Bishop Pepper and his 2nd wife Leona Reece Coverdell-Pepper.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, May 16 at the McDonald Funeral Home in Beloit followed by burial in Milo Cemetery near Barnard. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
