Jolene Jean Vossman

Jolene Jean "Jo" Vossman was born on March 29, 1959 to Donald and Cecilia (Heidrick) Vossman. She passed peacefully in her sleep on June 1, 2021 in her apartment. Jolene was a member of the St. John's Catholic Church. Her education began at the Christian Church Special Needs School in the late 1960's. After completing school, she worked at OCCK in Beloit, a job she loved going to (most days) for almost 40 years. Jo will be remembered for her ability to recall her relatives and friends' birthdays, her love of family gatherings, as well as her enjoyment of a good piece of pie and a Diet Pepsi. She found excitement in the simple things in life. Jo was always looking forward to the next celebration…the anticipation was sometimes as enjoyable as the event itself. Jo couldn't hide her smile when she was happy, nor her frown when she was not…you always knew how she felt. Giving and receiving gifts was one of her favorite things and always made her feel happy. Jo could have an ornery streak and enjoyed the attention of getting caught at her pranks. Jolene was preceded in death by her mother and father. Left to mourn her passing are her siblings, Dan (Marti) Vossman, Dee (Doug) Daugherty, Ken (Carolyn) Vossman, Roger (Betsy) Vossman, and Marcia Fleming. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services for Jolene Vossman, age 62, of Beloit will be at 2PM  Saturday, June 5 at St. John's Catholic Church in Beloit. Ms. Vossman died Tuesday, June 1 at the Mitchell County Hospital. Rosary and vigil will take place Saturday at 1PM.   Memorials are to OCCK and to the Occupational Therapy Dept. at Mitchell County Hospital.
