Karen K Snyder

Karen Kay Snyder was born February 6, 1951 to Tillman Garst and Lila Freeman.  She passed away at the Cedars Retirement Home in McPherson, Kansas on June 2, 2021.

Karen graduated from High School in 1969.  She spent some time in Virginia Beach, Virginia then moved back to Beloit.  She worked as a certified nurse's aide at the nursing home and the hospital, ran a daycare, and also attended beauty school.

Karen lived a long, happy life.  She was a very caring, loving, fun, outgoing, patient person.  Her kids and grandkids came first.  She always loved spending time with family, her kids and grandchildren.  She loved hanging out with friends, laughing, dancing, and just talking.  Karen always had a smile on her face and always looked her best.

She is survived by her son Darin Snyder of Colby and daughter Amanda Gunn of McPherson; grandchildren, Jordan Nelssen, Jillian Nelssen, Kellee Snyder, and Dalton Snyder.

Funeral services for Karen Snyder, age 70, of McPherson will be at 10 AM, Tuesday, June 8, at Roberts Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday from 1PM- 7PM at the funeral home.
