Kenneth "Kenny" Williamson

Kenneth "Kenny" Lee Williamson was born June 12, 1950 in Concordia, Kansas, the son of Daniel E. and Marian Evelyn Olson Williamson. He died Tuesday, November 28, 2017 as a result of an automobile accident in Cloud County, Kansas at the age of 67 years, 5 months, and 16 days.

Kenny grew up and spent most of his life in Glasco, where he graduated from Glasco High School. He later attended and graduated from the Beloit Area Vocational Technical School in Beloit.

On August 14, 1976, he was united in marriage with Mary Williamson. One daughter, Michelle was born to this union, and they were privileged to spend more than 41 years of marriage together.

Kenny worked at Solomon Valley Feeders. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading, fishing, and tinkering on machinery. He especially loved his family and greatly enjoyed his time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel; his brothers, Joe and Mike; and his sister, Karen.

Kenny is survived by his wife Mary "Mick" of the home; his daughter, Michelle Murk and husband Dustin of Delphos; three grandchildren, Brody, Brock, and Brooklyn; his mother, Evelyn of Glasco; siblings, Mary Lavy of Glasco, Nancy Briggs of Parsons, Guy and wife Ione of Micanopy, FL, John of Kersey, CO, David and wife Nancy of Round Rock, TX, Barb Holste and husband Jerry of Manhattan, Kay Morse of Boise, ID, Jean Hogan of Leesburg, FL, Rob of Caldwell, ID, Kevin of Halstead, Joyce Hood and husband John of Concordia, Ben of Leesburg, FL, and Linda Schmidt and husband Chad of Meriden; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 10 AM Saturday, December 2 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Glasco. A rosary service will be at 7 PM Friday, December 1 at the Church, & visitation will be from 5 PM until the rosary service begins. The casket will remain closed. Memorials may be given to the Williamson Grandchildren Education Fund or the Glasco Library.
