Leota Clawson

The ending of Leota Clawson's time on earth with her loving friends and family came to a close on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at the Nicol Home in Glasco, where she had resided the past several months. She was 90 years old at her passing.

Leota was born in the family home in Jewell County on Christmas Eve in 1931. She was the daughter of Loren and Doris Mahin.

Leota lived a full life mostly all in the Jewell and Mitchell County area.

She had three siblings, Beverly Elliot, Susan Hinkhouse, and Richard (Jay) Mahin all whom she kept in close contact with throughout the years.

She was blessed with four children, Debbie Galaway, Mike Plowman, Kathy McMahen and Marcia Koch who lived in various parts of the country. She enjoyed sharing their lives, homes and company throughout the years.

The family will be having an open house celebration of life from 2-4 PM on Thursday, July 6 at the Randall Community Center, located on the east side of Main Street in Randall.
