Lois L. Wallace

Lois Louise Wallace was born on June 16, 1953 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the daughter of Caccie and Pansy Motes Ullom. She died Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the Salina Regional Health Center in Salina, Kansas at the age of 65.

She grew up in Colorado Springs before the family moved to the Scottsville area. They later moved to Beloit, where she attended high school.

In 1972, she was united in marriage with Kenneth Wallace. Three sons were born to this union. They later divorced, but remained good friends.

For 27 years, Lois worked at Hilltop Lodge in Beloit, serving as a nurse's aide, as well as the laundry department.

In her spare time, she greatly enjoyed going to garage sales, and was always able to find great things for her entire family. She also spent time quilting with her grandmother, and loved to watch racing. She was also very devoted to her family.

Lois was preceded in death by her son, Patrick; mother, Pansy; and her sister, Linda.

She is survived by her two sons, Jeff and husband Travis Zirkle of Barnard, and Nick and wife Cindy of Barnard; her father, Caccie of Beloit; brothers, Lester and wife Theresa Ullom of Scottsville, Larry Ullom of Ionia, and Leo Ullom of Beloit; sister, Leanna and husband Steve Ptacek of Minneapolis; four grandchildren, Keegan, Wyatt, Carly, and Deaven; one great granddaughter Carolina; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Monday, December 24 at the Roberts Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1-8 PM with family present from 5-7 PM Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Beloit First Christian Church Youth Group.
