Louise Ida Sutton was born on October 27, 1935 on the family farm near Aurora, Kansas, the daughter of George and Mabel Budreau Bisnett. She died Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Hilltop Lodge in Beloit, Kansas at the age of 84.
She grew up and attended country schools around Concordia before graduating from Concordia High School. She later attended the Marymount School of Nursing in Salina, where she earned her nursing degree. She spent her entire career as a registered nurse at the Beloit Medical Center.
She married James Sutton in Beloit, and they were privileged to be married until his death in October, 2012.
In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting and knitting, as well as doing many ceramic projects. She was also a very dedicated member of TOPS, and was also a member of the Beloit First Christian Church.
In addition to her husband Jim, she was also preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, Raymond and Virgil Bisnett.
Louise is survived by her sister, Pauline Allison of Beloit; brother, Delmar Bisnett of Hoyt, Kansas; brother-in-law, Jerry Sutton of St. Louis; sister-in-law, Connie Bisnett; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family-only funeral services will be at 10 AM Friday, July 3 at the Roberts Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1-7 PM Thursday, July 2 at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Beloit First Christian Church or Mitchell County Hospital Endowment Fund.
