Margaret Marie Mccallum

Margaret Berneking Bassford McCallum peacefully joined the host of saints Sunday evening, November 7, 2010 at the Mitchell County Hospital Resident Care Center. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, George and Esther (Koch) Berneking, husbands Gerald Bassford and Tom McCallum, brother Wayne (Dean) Berneking. She leaves to celebrate her life her children Gerry (Elaine), Janice and Karen Bassford, grandsons Russell and Grant Bassford, and brother Wybern (Ruth) Berneking. Friends may call from 9 AM-8 PM Friday, November 12, 2010 at the McDonald Funeral Home. Memorial Services will be at 1:30 PM Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Zion Lutheran Church with private burial following. Memorials may be given to the Port Library, Mitchell County Historical Society, or Zion Lutheran Church. Please, do not bring food to the home. Instead, Margaret would appreciate your donating an item to the local food pantry.
