Michael "Kim" Hansen

Michael Kim Hansen, 68, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 15, 2015 at the Mitchell County Hospital. He was born September 22, 1947 to Keith and JoAnn Hansen.
Kim graduated from Beloit High School in 1965, celebrating his 50th class reunion this past Memorial Day. He served in the United States Navy for two years, and worked in the food service industry from 40 years up until the time of his death.
Kim has made California his home for the past 40 years, making periodic visits to Kansas to visit family and friends. He enjoyed traveling and visiting National Parks. Sunday afternoons were always reserved for watching football and cheering on his beloved San Francisco 49ers.
He was preceded in death by his father, Keith Hansen, and sister Dianne Hansen of Beloit.
He is survived by his mother, JoAnn Hansen of Beloit; brothers, Bill (Kris) Hansen of Beloit, and Greg Hansen of Melbourne, Florida; sisters, Peggy (Dave) Nagy of Topeka, and Lisa Rody of Westminister, Colorado.
Memorial services will be at 11 AM Thursday, November 19 at the McDonald Funeral Home. A private burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery in Beloit. Cremation was chosen & there will be no visitation. Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.
