Mildred Mick

March 13, 1939 — May 3, 2007

Mildred "Millie" Marie Mick was born to Conrad and Ann Thummel Mick on March 13, 1939 on the farm home near Cawker City, Kansas. She died on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at the Salina Regional Hospital in Salina, Kansas at the age of 68.
Millie attended St. Theresa's Academy and graduated from Cawker City High School in 1957.
She worked in the office at Richardson Manufacturing for a number of years, and later moved to Salina, where she was employed as office manager at Salina Waste Systems.
Her favorite hobby was bowling, and she was inducted into the Kansas Women's Bowling Association Hall of Fame on April 9, 2000.
Over the years, she has held numerous offices at the local and state levels.
Millie was preceded in death by her father in 1976; a brother, Richard in 1945; two sisters, Betty Hilgers in 1976, and Lois Otto in 2005; and her stepfather, Gilbert Greiner in 1999.
She is survived by her mother, Ann Greiner of Cawker City; three brothers, Gene Mick and his wife Linda of Glen Elder, Lee Mick and his wife Denelle of Cawker City, and Randy Mick and his wife Marcia of Concordia; two sisters, Rita Moritz and her husband Dick of Cawker City, and Marilyn Mills and her husband Dan of Gorham; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 AM Monday, May 7, at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Cawker City with burial in St. Boniface Cemetery at Tipton. A Vigil Service will be at 7:00 PM Sunday at the church. Memorials may be given to Hospice of Salina.
