Nancy Slate

Nancy Jane Slate was born August 6, 1944 to David and Marcellene (Emmot) Louder in Beloit.  She died January 6, 2025 at Hilltop Lodge at the age of 80.

She was proceeded in death by her husband of 60+ years, Jimmy Dale Slate (January 30, 2021).  They are now reunited in heaven.

She is survived by her children:  Randie of Montrose, Debra Peters (Tim) of Delphos, Malinda Skillman of Wichita, and Jeff Slate of Beloit; four grandchildren:  Amanda Slate, Mistie Knox (Dustin), Lance Hartley, and Allyson Skillman (fiance Andrew Payne); and 7 great grandchildren:  Ava Craig, Cora Craig, Hudsyn Knox, Gwyneth Knox, Kameron Knox, Kiara Knox, and Hayden Hartley.

Graveside services will be at 10 AM Monday, January 13 at the Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation, viewing, condolences with the family will be from 8:30-9:30 AM Monday at the Roberts Family Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to Mitchell County Regional Medical Foundation, Solomon Valley Hospice, or Solomon Valley Transportation.
