Patricia A. Earle

Patricia Anne Earle was born on July 28, 1924 in Scottsville, Kansas, the daughter of Keith and Fama Casterline Gilbert. She died Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Overland Park Place in Overland Park, Kansas at the age of 94.

She grew up and attended school in the Scottsville area, where she graduated from high school.

On August 7, 1946, she was united in marriage with William "Bill" Earle at the Zion Lutheran Church in Beloit. Two sons, Bill and Jim, were born to this union. They were privileged to spend more than 57 years of marriage together until Bill's death in January 2004.

After Bill returned from the service, the family resided in Beloit, where she worked at S& S Drug for many years. In 1979, they moved to Kansas City, where they resided until moving to Wichita in 2002.

In addition to her husband Bill, she was preceded in death by her parents.

Patricia is survived by her sons, Bill and wife Cheryl of Camdenton, Missouri and Jim and wife Karen of Lawrence, Kansas; one brother, Bill Gilbert of Malvern, Iowa; one sister, Phyllis Shaft of Abilene; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 10 AM Thursday, January 10 at the Roberts Family Funeral Home, followed by burial in Jewell Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM with family present from 6-7 PM Wednesday, January 9 at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.
