Patricia A. O'Harro-Soden

Patricia Ann O'Harro-Soden was born on February 19, 1962 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Max L. and Thelma Hill O'Harro. She died on Sunday, May 11, 2014 in Moundridge, Kansas at the age of 52 years, 2 months, and 22 days.
Patty, as she was known, grew up and attended schools, and graduated in Glen Elder.
She was a very friendly person who loved people, and always found the good in everybody she met. She dearly loved her dogs as well as her grandchildren, who referred to her as "Nana".
Patty had a variety of great interests, ranging from swimming and walking, art, music, singing and playing the piano, and eating ice cream and buying lottery tickets.
She was preceded in death by her father, Max, and her grandparents.
Patty is survived by her three sons, Boe Soden, Chris and his wife Jessica, and Patrick and his wife Rose, all of McPherson; her mother, Thelma O'Harro of Glen Elder; her sister, Geri Quested of McPherson; two daughters, Deja and Stephanie; and five grandchildren, Payton, Joshua, Mackenlee, Baylee, and Dylan, with another grandchild on the way. She will also be missed by a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Friday, May 16 at the Glen Elder Christian Church followed by burial in Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 AM to 8 PM, with family present from 6-7:30 PM Thursday, May 15 at the McDonald Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
