Patricia "Patty" S. Waltman, 60, died Thursday, March 9, 2017, in her home in Lincoln, KS, from complications related to her lung cancer. In hospice care shortly prior to her death, Patricia died peacefully in her sleep, with her companion, Jay Core, at her side.
Patricia was born March 24, 1956, in Beloit, the daughter of George and Betty (Murray) Bergmann. She attended Saint John's Catholic School. In 1972, she married Bob Wysocki in Beloit. They resided in St. Paul, NE. To this union, two children were born, William and Suzanne. The marriage was later dissolved. In 1982, she married Lee Hall in Winfield, KS. To this union, one daughter was born, Elizabeth. The marriage was later dissolved. While she still had two children at home, she graduated summa cum laude from Southwestern College in Winfield, with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing.
Nursing was her passion. She cared about and cared for all life around her. She also was an exceptional gardener, often giving away a large amount of what she harvested.
