Paul E. Hoopes

Paul E. Hoopes was born on January 3, 1917 in Lucas, Kansas, the son of Owen and Lydia Hoopes. He died Monday, February 20, 2006 at the Nicol Home in Glasco at the age of 89 years, 1 month, and 17 days.
Following graduation from high school, Paul served in the United States Army during World War II. He then worked for many years for Union Pacific Railroad as a depot agent, and later retired from that career.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Paul is survived by his son, Ronald Hoopes of Glasco.
There will be no visitation or service – the body was cremated. A private burial will take place at a later date.
