Pearl Magdaline Beeson was born on September 21, 1934 to Guy Vernal and Clara May Mayer Stair at Independence, Kansas.
She departed this life of 77 years, 9 months and 15 days late Friday evening, July 6, 2012 at the Logan Manor Nursing Center in Logan, Kansas.
Pearl spent her early years growing up in Independence and became an integral part of the work force at an early age.
On October 27, 1950, she married Albert Byron Beeson at Wichita. This union was blessed with two daughters Marilyn and Alberta.
Pearl and her family lived in Andover, Kansas for many years and in 1974 moved to Beloit, making their home at 219 S. Lincoln. Albert died in April of 2003.
Pearl did several things during her working life. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed grill cooking at various restaurants. She also worked as a housekeeper for a number of motels.
A kind hearted but rather strong willed person, Pearl made the most of her life. She was a woman of her word and you always knew where you stood with her. She enjoyed craft projects, playing Bingo, Yahtzee and of course cards. Pearl liked flower gardening. Above all, she dearly loved her family and was always there for them.
She and her husband attended the Baptist Church.
Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Albert, her daughter Marilyn Wiles; sisters Stella Newman, Tina Schroeder and Virginia Paugh, and one brother Earl Stair.
Survivors are her daughter Alberta Roenne Bennett of Osborne, one brother Vernal Stair of Independence; five grandchildren Bobbi Wiles and fiancé Eddie Miller, Billy Wiles, John Roenne, James Roenne, Robby Roenne, eleven grandchildren and many friends.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday in Elmwood Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Charity of the Donor's Choice. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. Tuesday at the McDonald Funeral Home.
