Raymond Worley

Raymond E. Worley, 100, died Saturday, April 2nd. He was born in Osborne County, Kansas on September 8, 1910 to Ed and Jennie Worley. Survivors are sister Margaret Bihlmaier, Downs, son Ron and wife Dana Worley of Lenexa, granddaughter Rhonda and husband David Hamilton, Wichita, grandson Matthew Freije and granddaughter Lauren Freije, Overland Park. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, grand nephews and nieces and cousins. Raymond was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Alta L. Worley.

Graveside services will be 10:30 AM Friday in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 AM until 8 PM Thursday with the family receiving friends from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Downs Historical Society or to the Mitchell County Regional Medical Foundation, both in care of McDonald Funeral Home, 910 North Campbell, Beloit, Kansas 67420.
